Nancy E. Allen BSN, RNC, CMC is founder and president of Solutions for Care, Inc., a consulting company specializing in community based health care since 2001. Clients include community based providers (Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty) government agencies and universities.

Traveling throughout the United States and internationally Nancy is considered one of the most knowledgeable consultants in community based healthcare.   She is serving on projects with the University of Hawaii to establish Home Health and Hospice in the Republic of Palau and American Samoa. 

 

She  served as a corporate integrity reviewer with the Office of Inspector General and previously as a Medicare Hearing officer conducting and adjudicating federal administrative hearings.

As a certified clinical specialist in home health and care management she brings her many years of experience including nearly 10 years as a state and accreditation surveyor to assist agencies in implementing processes to improve quality and compliance to their operations.  She is a contributing author to the Handbook for Home Health Administration and numerous other articles in National Home Care publications. Her book “Survivor! Ten Practical Steps to Survey Survival” has helped many achieve deficiency free surveys.

She is a sought after public speaker and spokesperson and is currently working with Medbridge to develop online education courses for community based health care.
